When possible, your primary care doctor (also called a PCP) should be your first call. Your doctor knows you and your health history and can help you with best next steps to start feeling better. Your primary care doctor may also be able to order services such as an x-ray, refer you to a specialist, or arrange other follow-up care if needed.

Cold, fever, sore throat
Earache
Pink eye
Respiratory infection
Sinus infection
Injuries – sports injury, sprain, strain
Skin conditions – rash, poison injury, etc.
Do you have an urgent issue? Some doctors offer after-hours care, have an on-call doctor or offer telehealth visits. Call your doctor to see what options you have.

Some of our providers offer telehealth visits. Call your doctor first to see what options you have. Telehealth can be used for many common medical and mental health needs including illnesses, minor injuries, and skin conditions.
Virtual telehealth visits are covered for most of our members, subject to copay, deductible or co-insurance.
When your doctor isn’t available, we’ve partnered with MDLIVE.* Get access to U.S. board-certified providers for non-emergency medical and behavioral health conditions. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Urgent Care
Urgent care can be a good option for in-person care when your doctor is not available. They can treat nonlife-threatening illnesses or injuries that require immediate care. Some urgent cares also provide x-rays.
